BIO
Born in Lahore. From an early age I was interested in drawing, and would make things with paper, fabric, clay and other everyday materials. I later formalised this passion completing a 4yrs BA in Fine Arts at National College of Arts, Lahore. After graduation, I taught drawing and painting at French Cultural Centre, and National college of arts in Lahore. I then move to live in UAE from where I travelled extensively around the world for a few years before moving to London and completing a Post Graduation in painting at Chelsea College of Art and Design.
In my BA years I learnt more about artists of past and present, art movements especially European Art, and Art History. These artists have inspired and influenced my work through out the stages of my academic learning and present work.
I now work from my East London studio as a full time artist.
